New Moon Research conducts only custom research for clients.  We don't force research problems into expensive, cookie-cutter, black box molds.  We tailor our design approach to the unique demands of each engagment - including the intended use of the insights, the nature of the research targets, the sensitivity of the research question, the implications of using specific methodologies - AND your budget. 

We have substantial experience with B2B and consumer research, both quantitative and qualitative, in a broad variety of sectors.  Much of our work has touched different links in the food chain - the complex system of inputs and outputs, producers and processors, manufacturers and transporters, marketers and advertisers that turn dirt, sun and water into food on the plate.

Beyond the standard attitude, trial and usage studies, ad hoc surveys, and focus groups/in-depth interviews, we focus on several areas:

We use web, CATI, mail (yes, it's still relevant), and mixed-mode data collection approaches to fit the situation.  We work with consumer and B2B panels, domestic and global, and can help you build your own customer panels and communities.  We work with trusted partners for demanding B2B phone or recruit-to-web studies (such as with C-level executives, large ag producers or medical professionals).  We even do immersive ethnography and intelligent in-depth interviews.

Examples of our work include c-sat/loyalty programs for a Global 50 medical manufacturer, a global shopping segmentation research platform for a category-leading beverage company, concept testing and driver analysis for major QSRs, and a qualitative exploration of new chemical formulations with farmers for a global seed and crop protection company.
